Overview
Our department boasts of an exceptional nursing team, which is extremely competent in terms of their knowledge and skills for managing patients with childhood cancer.
Our nurses undergo a regular upgradation on their knowledge and skills through a designed mandatory academic curriculum, line care workshops, bedside teaching and a bi-annual international nursing educator visits.
They are assessed on regular intervals through audits and chemo -competency checks to reinforce implementation of SOP’s and ensure delivery of safe and par-excellent nursing care.Our nurses (Incharge, team leaders, staff nurses) work as one team with the physicians to deliver best professional and personal care to our kids, admitted for chemotherapy or supportive treatment.
