With great pride and honor, the Department of Nursing at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCI&RC) Delhi, announces a two-day international Nursing Conference to be held on October 18th & 19th,2024.
The theme of the conference is: “Healing Hands Integrative Approaches in Oncology Nursing.”
Oncology nursing is a rewarding and challenging specialty that requires compassion, critical thinking skills, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals affected by cancer. It plays a vital role in the holistic care of cancer patients and contributes significantly to their overall well-being. Oncology nurses play a critical role in supporting cancer patients through various stages of their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Here is an overview of oncology nursing:
This may include a variety of therapies and techniques that cater to the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients with cancer. Healing Hands Integrative Approaches is a holistic oncology nursing framework that integrates complementary therapies into traditional oncology care. This approach involves exploring the emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and psychological needs of patients. It emphasizes the importance of addressing the whole person, rather than just their physical symptoms. The Healing Hands Integrative Approaches model has been shown to improve patient outcomes, reduce symptoms, and enhance patient satisfaction with their care.
In this background, the Department of Nursing of RGCI & RC has planned the Academic Feast for the Nursing Fraternity. NURSICON provides a global platform for idea exchange and keeps up to date on the most recent innovations in nursing care and education. We cordially invite you to participate in this event and make the most use of the vast knowledge and experience of the learned faculty.
