Mr. D. P. Tyagi

A Graduate from Delhi University and Post Graduate from Rajasthan University. Served in the Indian Air Force, in the Department of Security, at various places in the country for 20 years. After the glorious defence services, he served at IGI Airport for five years as Security Officer in an International Flight Catering, unit, maintaining tight security in civil aviation. Since 2007 he is looking after the Security, Fire – fighting, Transport including Ambulances and various other activities at ‘Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre’ and leading two hundred personnel effectively. He believes in using latest security gadgets to maintain security and safety in Healthcare Industry.

He has imparted various types of training like Disaster Management and Soft Skill to Security and other personals. Induction training is one of the most important and effective for all the personnel joining this Institute. He has undergone various Security and Administrative courses during his defence career and later in the corporate sector as well.

Strengths are – Ability to effectively motivate and deploy team members to achieve security goals and sound decision making skills. Resourceful in building/maintaining interpersonal relationships. Adapt in working in a team environment as well as independently, adhering strictly to performance guidelines.
