The 20th edition of RGCON, the annual international conference of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC) was held on the theme of “Frontiers in Uro Oncology”. RGCON had faculty from all leading hospitals in India besides the sterling presence of faculties from major cancer care centres around the world.
Chief Guest at the inaugural Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) congratulated Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute for the “excellent work” being done in the field of oncology.
More than 450 delegates participated in the conference. The scientific programme included workshops, lectures, and panel discussions/ debates and was designed to include diagnostic as well as therapeutic Uro- Oncology, said Dr Sudhir Rawal, Medical Director RGCIRC.
All the three departments of medical, surgical and radiation oncology at RGCIRC came together to hold RGCON 2022. The teams were led by Dr Vineet Talwar Director – Medical Oncology, Dr Munish Gairola, Director Radiation Oncology and Dr Amitabh Singh, Consultant, Department of Genito-Uro Oncology.
