LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu was invited to be a part of the free health camp awareness organised by the Israel Embassy in association with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre and Khushi (NGO). Harnaaz, who feels close to the cause, met women at the health camp, discussed the struggles they face in talking about feminine hygiene and encouraged women to take help of medical professionals at camps like these.

‘I am glad that the Miss Diva is here with us at the camp’

Naor Gilon, Ambassador of Israel, shared that the presence of Harnaaz Sandhu at the health camp, would resonate with the girls who look up to her. He said, “The bilateral relations between India and Israel are beautiful, the basis of our friendship is closeness, it is people to people. One wonderful example of this friendship is when Israel was hit with coronavirus first, equipment was sent from India and then later, Israel also helped India when coronavirus hit the country and I think this shows how friends treat each other. And we are very thankful for this friendship. We are also thankful to the Miss Diva for being here today and creating awareness among people. Her mother is also a gynecologists so I think it serves the purpose because many women look up to her.”
